Teetee’s 18.4oz Blue Amnesia and 15oz White Widow monsters<\/a><\/h1>\n

OK so I have finally finished this grow.<\/p>\n

The room is silent – the only fans I can hear are the ones on the Premiership football. The Hammers will be getting their arses kicked by Chelski tomorrow night, so I’ve been watching other games as a neutral – listening really, as I’ve been busy clipping buds.<\/p>\n

I have had the White Widow and Blue Amnesia hanging since the chop earlier this month, and today I have removed the dried buds from the stems, and jarred them in Mason Jars with Boveda 62 packs, for curing.<\/p>\n

Looks like some of this haul will spend a lot more than a month curing, cos there’s just shit loads of gear!<\/p>\n

Here, at last, are the final weights…….. drum roll please……<\/p>\n

First the White Widow…. the plant that has been the centre of attention this grow, a huge girl choc full of donkey dicks….<\/h3>\n

\nShe gave me a dry weight of\u00a015.13 ounces….. a massive 428.93 grams!<\/p>\n

It would have been a bit more as they are slightly over-dried….. the Boveda’s will sort that out.<\/p>\n

\nThe Blue Amnesia XXL took second stage to the White Widow… like an Ugly Sister pushed to the side.<\/p>\n

Well, while the Widow hogged the spotlight, the Amnesia fattened up, and produced colas that looked like rugby balls, and lots of them…..<\/h3>\n

\nWhen I was cropping her, there seemed to be even more than I pulled from the White Widow….<\/h3>\n

\nI weighed this lot after cropping…. checked the numbers…… then weighed it again……<\/p>\n

then I took some bud and put it in a jar with a hygrometer…… hmmmmmmmm 54% RH……..<\/p>\n

So here goes….<\/p>\n

the Blue Amnesia gave me a dry haul of…..\u00a018.40 ounces…… thats 521.63 gramsWTF????????<\/p>\n

Whoever heard of an Auto grown in coco giving almost 18\u00bd ounces???????\u00a0\":cool:\"\u00a0\":cool:\"\u00a0\":cool:\"\u00a0\":cool:\"\u00a0\":cool:\"<\/p>\n

\nThere’s not even a gram of popcorn, and no mould. Just fat hard sparkly buds!<\/p>\n

Each plant was under a Skyline 400 LED unit which has a 200W draw. I used 4 Skyline 400’s in total.
\nI added 2x Skyline 100’s (50W draw) to the White Widow half way through, so an extra 100W was used on her.<\/p>\n

Conditions for autoflower seed cultivation.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Initially the autoflower seeds were germinated and given a 100W LED for the first 5 weeks. After that each autoflower plant had a\u00a0200W Skyline 400 growlight from LED Hydroponic LTD\u00a0Nutrients came from Miracle-Gro for the first 6 weeks, and once in bloom the plants had\u00a0Biobizz Bio-Bloom, Biobizz Top-Max,\u00a0Biobizz Alg-A-Mic,\u00a0Bud Candy, Big Bud and Overdrive from Advanced Nutrients.\u00a0The Auto Ultimates were harvested around 90 days after germination. That\u2019s a week or two longer than normal, but the XL harvest was worth the wait.<\/p>\n

Auto Ultimate – autoflower seeds for XL harvests of THC rich cannabis.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

LEDbud\u2019s grow was straightforward and easy. Auto Ultimate seeds grow well under 20 hours of daily light followed by a 4 hour period of darkness. Most of the vertical stretch with this variety comes generally between days 25-50. After day 50 most of the plant energy is focussed on swelling the blooms, producing resin and synthesising the cannabinoids. The heaviest yielding Auto Ultimate plants tend to be the phenotypes which take an extra couple of weeks to finish blooming.<\/p>\n

Auto Ultimate produces lots of white pistils on the buds during bloom, this is an indication that the plant still hasn’t finished flowering. Once the pistils start to appear as brown\/orange its usually a sign that bud growth has stopped and harvest is approaching. The cannabis leaves often start to turn yellow at this stage and the trichomes start to switch from clear to cloudy and then to amber. Most people harvest Auto Ultimate as the trichomes (resin glands) are cloudy. If you harvest the buds when the resin glands have turned amber you get a really strong sedating effect from this variety, it\u2019s a calming and more restful experience compared to harvesting with clear trichomes.<\/p>\n
